TESTTITE® Pneumatic and Mechanical Plugs and Accessories

     TESTTITE® pneumatic and mechanical plugs are designed to temporarily stop flow  for bypassing or testing pipelines.  Some models are designed for one specific pipe size, while others for two or more pipe sizes.  Most plugs are manufactured from a durable, natural rubber compound for long life.

     Mechanical plugs are available in sizes from 1/2 inch through 36 inches.  Pneumatic plugs from 3/4 inch through 6 inches come with a chain and ring assembly attached to the molded valve.  Larger sizes come with a replaceable inflation fitting and eyebolt.

     Accessories include inflation hoses, designed to be used with pipe plugs or bypass plugs for the purpose of inflating or deflating plugs from a remote location.  The inflation hose is a flexible rubber braided hose, manufactured with an inflator on one end and a deflator on the other.  The deflator is designed to attach to a normal inflation fitting.

     Two sizes of hose are available.  The 3/16-inch I.D. hose is for normal inflation and deflation, while the 3/8-inch I.D. hose is used when faster inflation and deflation is needed.

     Accessories such as hand pumps, air tanks and an air control valve provide easy and accurate ways to inflate pipe plugs.  Hand pumps and air tanks come complete with pressure gauges and hose for inflating plugs of all sizes.  The air control valve is a handheld device, providing regulated air pressure for inflating plugs.

     Other accessories include air test control panels, hoses and air test caps that are designed to be used on bypass plugs to test lines.  These caps are steel, and replace the existing cap on the bypass plug.  Air hose accessories attach for easy testing from above ground.  Winch and downroller accessories are helpful for leak location testing.
